The Nikon XF Reflectorless Total Station of the Nikon XF Series is specially designed for fast long-range measurements. As opposed to its shorter-range cousin Nikon XF HP, the Nikon XF can measure up to 2,600 feet without a prism and up to 16,400 feet with a single prism. It also has an Autofocus feature (exclusive to Nikon XF) that improves efficiency and reduces worker fatigue.

Nikon XF Series: The Nikon XF is part of the Nikon XF Series, a portfolio of Nikon mechanical total stations that lets you choose the EDM technology that best fits your type of work. It has two models: the Nikon XF which uses the Time of Flight (TOF) EDM for long-range measurements and the Nikon XF HP which uses Phase Shift EDM for higher precision/smaller spot (although shorter-range) measurements. The Nikon XF is ideal if your work mainly involves construction, road survey, mining, and other jobs that require accurate long-range measurements. Please refer to the table at the end of this page for more information on the differences between the two models.

Top-Notch Performance: Available in 5”, 3”, 2”, ad 1” angle accuracies, the Nikon XF Total Station features dual-axis compensation with liquid-electric detection for accurate angle measurements. It also uses superior Nikon optics with 30x magnification that provides crisp and bright sightings that reduce eye fatigue.

Efficient Field Workflow: The Nikon XF Series Total Stations have dual-color touchscreen displays that can run Survey Basic, Survey Pro, and Layout Pro onboard (sold separately). With these software options, you can collect data, layout your site, and do all your surveying tasks with ease. Further, its long-lasting hot-swappable batteries reduce downtime in the field. It also has an optical or laser plummet for fast and accurate centering. It has PIN security to prevent unauthorized use and is Trimble Locate2Protect ready for effective tracking of lost or stolen equipment.

Seamless Data Transfer: Data transfers to PCs and data collectors are made easier with the Total Station File Transfer app and a Class 1 Bluetooth with a range of up to 328 feet. It also connects with PCs with an RS-232C cable and two USB ports. You can also store files in its 512 MB RAM and 4 GB flash memory.

This Nikon total station comes with an IP66 protection rating, making it dustproof and water-resistant. With its lightweight and compact design, the XF total station is easy to handle, store, and transport.
